Pender Island

Located near the Gulf of Georgia, Pender Island consists of two islands- North Pender and South Pender, which are separated by a narrow canal. In 1955, the islands were connected by a one lane bridge, as it remains today. At approximately 13 square miles, and about 2,250 permanent residents, Pender Island is a popular destination for fishing, boating, scuba diving and other outdoor pursuits- and for those into golfing, the island also boasts a 9 hole golf course and 27-hole disc golf course near Magic Lake. This vibrant island has all the amenities of a large town with the feel of a remote, tight-knit island.
